What is the definition of an Urgent Survey Request?

When urgent assistance for a vessel is needed outside of normal working hours for the following scenarios:

  • Time-dependent e.g. surveys to secure charter requirements, surveyor assistance to clear port entry requirements imposed on arrival;
  • Safety related e.g. damages or statutory issues requiring immediate assistance before vessel can continue operating;

What is the definition of an Urgent Survey Request?

Please submit your request via LR Class Direct or contact your local office to request a survey.

Will there be a technical expert answering this call?

The person answering your call will not be a technical expert, their role is to identify where our vessel is located, the category of your request and then direct to the most appropriate technical team to arrange attendance.

How soon will I be able to speak to a technical expert at LR?

Once we have collected the required details you will receive a call back within 30 minutes from an LR technical expert.
